This season we explored our connection to the chalk grassland of Castle Hill. An abundance of sunshine and wildflowers, oxeye daisies and cowslips inspired our floral prints and embroidery; the gentle breeze through the grasses brings the comfort of natural textiles, soft gathers and billowing silhouettes of clothes you can wear every day. 

This photo series titled Native explores the wild flowers of Castle Hill nature reserve in East Sussex captured by Alex Catt. The title of each image gives the grid reference of the exact location the picture was taken on our SS23 photoshoot in June 2022.
