Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a mother of five living in Byron Bay, Australia. I’m also the co-founder of Babyccino, a family lifestyle site and online shopping directory. After 12 years in London, we set off on a big family travel adventure around the world. During our travels, we fell in love with Byron Bay and decided to relocate our family to this beautiful corner of the world. I pinch myself every day that we get to live here!

What inspires you?

I’m so inspired by nature. Whether it’s time spent in the ocean, a walk in the rainforest or watching the sun set on the horizon, I love the feeling of being in the elements and feeling grounded on this earth. I’ve recently taken up surfing and I love the feeling of being out in the ocean on my surfboard watching the waves roll in. It’s so peaceful and meditative. I’m also inspired by travel and the fact that there is so much more to discover and learn from people and places around the world.

What makes you happy?

A sunny weekend with nothing in the calendar! I just love the feeling of knowing I get to be with my family and there’s nowhere else we have to be. You’ll probably find us at the beach enjoying the sun and surf.

Who is your style icon and why?

This is such a tricky one. I don’t watch TV and haven’t read a magazine in years, so I am clueless about style. Haha. I really love Christy Dawn’s style and all of her pretty, vintage-style dresses.

What are you listening to and reading at the moment?

I’m loving the new George Ezra album. There are also a few really great local artists making wonderful music. If you don’t know Ziggy Alberts or Kyle Lionhart you should look them up on Spotify!

What do you like about SIDELINE?

I love the beautiful fabrics and subtle details of each piece. I also love that everything is beautiful in an understated, simple way. Nothing too fancy or fussy.
